Founded in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Horse Connections was created by humanitarian and naturalist Bianca Scarano, who was born in New York City and raised in the Hudson Valley. Bianca's deep connection to both flora, fauna, and the arts has influenced her ability to understand and communicate with animals, aiding her efforts in dog, horse, and wildlife rescue. Her lifelong passions include caring for animals and children, as well as her personal journey of healing. This journey led her to establish Horse Connections, a sanctuary where people can gather with animals, plants, and nature to learn, grow, and heal together.

Everyone is dedicated to creating a peaceful environment for learning and growth. Most importantly, our amazing herd of horses has joined our family due to their common caring dispositions and, of course, their training.

We offer private therapeutic riding lessons, group equine-assisted therapy, and private parties to celebrate any occasion. Our farm serves as the ideal location for private family or group retreats. We take pride in offering inclusive programs for all ages and abilities within a holistic setting. We are currently in the beginning stages of creating internships and training opportunities for foster youth and adults with disabilities to learn horsemanship skills and acquire jobs in the equine industry.
